Partly late 16th Century
With shortened two-stage barrel (loose) struck on the octagonal breech with Augsburg mark and a bugle mark (similar to Neue Stckel 5223), flat lock with safety-catch, domed wheel-cover, and sliding pan-cover with slotted release button, full stock inlaid with staghorn in the late 16th Century manner, compressed spherical pommel, iron trigger-guard, engraved staghorn fore-end cap, and horn-tipped ramrod
