A 5in. scale model Burrell single cylinder two speed three shaft general purpose traction engine,
with welded steel boiler with fittings including water gauge with shut-off cocks, pressure gauge, safety, blower, water lift, whistle and clack valves. Engine details include cylinder 2½in. bore x 4½in. stroke, footplate controlled draincocks and pipework, mechanical and displacement lubricators, bar type crosshead guides, Stephenson's link reverse, wedged and bolted big end, eccentric driven feedpump and shut-off valve, two road speeds and disc flywheel. Chassis details include spoked wheels with bolted-on tyres, brass hubcaps, worm and roller chain steering, belly and tender tanks, water lift, cable drum band brake to second shaft, whistle and other details, finished in red and yellow, the bunker side numbered '1912' -- 49¾ x 67in.
