An oak and inlaid chest, probably Welsh, mid 18th century
with moulded plank lid and three ogee arched panels with two drawers below, the whole of the front with rosewood bandings and stylised tuliphead inlay, with moulded apron and applied bracket feet, the sides twin panelled -- 56in. (144cm.) wide, 34in. (88cm.) high, 21in. (54cm.) deep
