A MUSTARD-PAINTED AND DECORATED BLANKET CHEST
Centre County, Pennsylvania, late 18th century
The rectangular mustard-painted top with applied molded edge opening to a conforming interior fitted with a till above a mustard-painted case decorated in front with a green, cream, brown, yellow and dark blue- painted crown centering and flanked above and below by dot-decoration and stylized flowers, the whole flanked by dot decorated and stylized parrots, pelicans, hearts, lions and fish
23in. high, 38in. wide, 19in. deep
