On circular spreading foot chased with a narrow band of stipplework, with dropped base, the tapering body chased with two bands of shells, foliage, scrolls and matting, the curved spout similarly chased and rising from shells, foliage and scrolls, the handle issuing from lion's mask, fruit, foliage and scroll panel and with foliage and scrolls at the base, the hinged cover with chased stipplework border and acanthus bud finial rising from a shell within matted band chased with flowers and foliage, engraved with a crest, marked on base and cover
