Guillaume Cordi, matre in 1766, was established in the rue de Charonne and appears to have specialised in the production of bonheurs-du-jour of Transitional form. Two closely related examples, also stamped by Cordi, are illustrated in P. Kjellberg, Le Mobilier Franais du XVIIIe Sicle, Paris, 1989, pp. 185-186.
