The first of musozutsu type of dark wood carved with a demon singing and beating time on a mask-like drum, the face, hands, legs, and end of the drum stick inlaid ivory, the drum shaft and eyes of the mokugyo inlaid metal, rim ring also metal; the second of musozutsu type in Hashiichi-style designed as a shaft of bamboo and lacquered reddish brown with black details, the himotoshi formed beneath a knot of the rim, and the third of senryuzutsu type formed as a South Sea Islander with crossed arms, the eyes red coral
