The bote jonc case with painted porcelain dial depicting a seated woman amidst gilt buildings on a cream ground, with birds and trees above, gilt Roman chapter ring, with retail signature EDWARD & SONS PARIS, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat on gong to the backplate stamped for E. Maurice & Co. and numbered 1919
