The hood with wavy cresting and brass ball and spire finials to the breakarch top, glazed side panels and brass stop-fluted outset columns, the breakarch trunk door with moulded panelling and flanked by brass stop-fluted chamfered angles, the cut-down plinth raised on a wavy skirting, the 12in. brass (silvering rubbed) one piece dial with engraved chapter ring and signature to the arch John Brice ELHAM, with recessed subsidiary dials to the centre for seconds and calendar, black-painted hands, the five pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; replaced seatboard
