Inlaid overall with floral bouquets within a shaped cartouche, the three-quarter galleried shaped rectangular top above three drawers inlaid sans traverse, on cabriole legs headed by foliate mounts and joined by a shaped rectangular undertier, with foliate sabots, with old depository label to the underside and with stencilled inscription 'D.Dilene' to the underside of the top, remounted, some mounts stamped 'GF' to the back, the top relaid, the top drawer lining possibly replaced, blackened to the underside of the lower drawer

The floral marquetry relates to the fashion popularised in England in the 1750s by Pierre Langlois, cabinet-maker of Tottenham Court Road, London.
The underside of the lower drawer on this table is blackened, which is one of the characteristics found on furniture made by Langlois, such as the Dundas Commodes, sold by the Marquess of Zetland, in these Rooms, 3 July 1997, lot 102.
