Maker's Mark of Thomas Parr II, London, 1745
Shaped oval, on four shell and scroll feet headed by female masks, the everted sides pierced with panels of quatrefoils and foliate scrolls enclosing a flat-chased border of scrolls and foliage on a matted ground, the center engraved with a monogram AD and initial B, the rim applied with foliate scrolls and rocaille, the swing handle formed of two caryatid supports, flat-chased with foliage and engraved with the same initial, marked under base and handle
