Lithographed frontispiece, EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED with 8 original watercolour decorations or tail-pieces by Frdric Bourdin. Near-contemporary red morocco by Sangorski & Suitcliffe, the covers with ruled borders with elaborate cornerpieces of inlaid small hearts (abalone on the upper cover, blue morocco on the lower) from which issues scrolling foliage in gilt with green morocco inlaid leaves, and white kid rose-blooms, all outlined in gilt, the upper cover with large centrally-placed peacock with displayed tail in gilt, tooled onto onlaid blue, dark blue, brown and red morocco, spine in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in two, the others with rose-sprays tooled in gilt, gilt ruled turn-ins, green silk endleaves, t.e.g. (split to upper cover), slipo-case.
