Comprising a terrestrial and celestial globe, each with astrological signs on the dial and calendar band, on a faceted panelled stand carved with leaves and spiral ribbing with a gadrooned collar, on an incurving tripod base surrounded by stylized swans, on webbed claw and ball feet with metal casters, the terrestrial globe calculated to the year 1807 and dedicated to Sir Joseph Banks, Bart. K.B. and sold by W. and S. Jones., Holborn, London and the celestial globe calculated to 1800 and dedicated to the Rev. Nevil Maskelyne, D.D. F.R.S., Astronomer Royal, missing one swan's head
