A Worcester globular jug
Circa 1755, to footrim
With tapering cylindrical neck painted with a border of turquoise and green-ground diaper-pattern shaped half-cartouches above flower-sprays, the upper terminal of the loop handle moulded with a stylised leaf, the body printed and painted with the Red Cow pattern of two similar chinoiserie vignettes of figures tending cattle in landscapes divided by a red moon (firing cracks to upper and lower handle terminals, very slight surface scratches)
