A pair of Meissen bowls and covers
Circa 1750, blue crossed swords marks, Pressnummer 6 to one footrim, painter's numerals 44 in puce
Of shallow ogee outline, painted with bouquets and scattered flower-sprays beneath a shaped Altozier border and gilt line rim, the covers similarly decorated with flower finials and with an aperture for a spoon to the rim (both finials slightly damaged, one cover with two minor rim chips)
