A Meissen two-handled Seau crenelle
Circa 1770, blue crossed swords and dot mark
Of shaped oval form, the handles formed as up-turned scrolling foliage enriched with gilding, the centre of one side painted with a bouquet of flowers and fruit, the other with a bouquet of flowers, vegetables and fruit, each below a continuous pendant ribbon-tied garland, the crenellated rim with gilt dentil ornament (chipping to footrim, minute wear to gilding)
