A Bttger baluster octagonal tea-caddy and cover
The decoration circa 1725, the porcelain a little earlier
Decorated at Augsburg in the workshop of Abraham Seuter, the ribs and neck richly gilt, the recessed panels alternately gilt with Laub-und-Bandelwerk and with figures in landscapes above scroll supports, the top of the circular cover with two figures by a tree in a landscape, the sides richly gilt (small chip to rim of cover, very minor shallow chip to underside of base of tea-caddy, wear to gilding)
