A pair of Meissen two-handled sauceboats
Circa 1745, blue crossed swords marks
Each painted with scattered flower-sprays and flowerheads, with double-scroll handles and moulded below each lip with feathered plumes issuing from foliage, the lower parts formed as shells supported on four foliage-moulded scroll feet, shaped gilt line rims (one with two cracks, minute chipping to feet and minute wear to gilding)
