A Meissen gilt-metal-mounted circular snuff-box
Circa 1750
The edges moulded with scrolls, the cover, exterior and base with figures at various pursuits in pastoral vignettes, the interior of the cover with finely dressed courtiers, dancing and music making before a distant castle (the base broken through and restuck, chip to underside of base, two minute chips to edge of base)
