The circular silvered dial signed Chas. Frodsham 27 South Molton St. London. 2496 with Roman chapter ring and blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds ring below XII and up-and-down ring above VI, the single chain fusee movmement with conical double-screwed gilt pillars securing the thick spotted plates, maintaining power, jewelled contrate pivots, the large gilt escapement platform carrying the spring foot detent with jewelled locking stone, cut bimetallic compensated balance with heat compensation weights and steel helical spring, the spotted backplate signed Chas. Frodsham. 27 South Molton St. London. 2496., the arched case with ebony line inlay to the front, rectangular bevelled glazed apertures to the top and sides and arched glazed door to the rear
