The nickel plated movement with 38 jewels, the steel rotor driving a generator to power the quartz circuitry, the textured matt black dial with Arabic quarter hour marks and baton five minute divisions, luminous hands and sweep centre seconds, three subsidiary dials set into the steel face for 60 minute and 12 hour recording, flying tenths of a second operated by two buttons in the band, aperture for date under magnifying glass, in circular case with protected winder, glazed back, integral stainless steel bracelet and double deployant clasp, maker's guarantee date 8 March 1999 and valid for one year, book of instructions, spare links, presentation box and outer packaging, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

The Kinetic is the world's first batteryless quartz watch and was launched at Basel in 1998. Production of the Kinetic Chronograph is limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide, with just 50 pieces being allocated to the UK.
