The ovoid body decorated in various coloured inlays on a gold ground with details in gold and silver hiramaki-e and foil with a cock, hens and chicks standing by a river below a blossoming cherry tree and sprays of peonies, chrysanthemums and hibiscus, the neck and the raised foot of hexagonal section decorated in nashiji, the shoulder fitted with silver finely incised with chrysanthemum and peony blossoms, silver rims, slight old wear
