The simple bowl constructed with four vertical plates ending in a low medial ridge and fitted with a simple rounded horizontal peak, the heavy bowl gold lacquered with a black lacquer disc to the front and fitted with a simple black lacquered elongated "horseshoe" crest [tentsuki mayedate], five lame close fitting neckguard of iron false lamellae [kirituske kozane] laced with dark blue close lacing
