(25.4cm.) barrel engraved 'Churchill' (partly refreshed), rounded border engraved lock engraved with 'GR' crowned, and 'Tower 1742' on the tail (cock associated), full stock (bruised, fore-end chipped and cracked, butt with amateur repair), and brass mounts including spurred pommel with grotesque mask cap, the escutcheon engraved 'T1/29' (iron parts with surface pitting, ramrod missing), Ordnance proof marks
