With two-stage barrels lightly belled at the muzzle, octagonal breeches engraved 'London', bevelled brass locks each with stepped tail (signatures erased, one cock replaced), figured walnut full stocks inlaid with silver wire scrollwork around the barrel tangs, engraved brass mounts, pierced ribbon side-plates, trigger-guards with pineapple finial, spurred pommels, rococo escutcheons, and original ramrods (each ramrod incomplete, some wear throughout), Birmingham private proof marks
