A 32-Bore German Percussion Holster Pistol

Converted from flintlock, with two-stage rifled sighted barrel, signed flat bevelled lock with stepped tail, moulded figured walnut full stock (cracked below the tail of the lock) carved with a rocaille behind the barrel tang, brass mounts finely cut with strapwork and foliage against a punched ground, retaining traces of gilding and engraved with a trophy of arms on the butt-cap, trigger-guard and side-plate, oval escutcheon engraved with a coat-of-arms, horn fore-end cap, and original horn-tipped ramrod (incomplete)
