Reconverted from percussion, with two-stage barrels, the octagonal breeches each with raised longitudinal ribs, signed flat bevelled locks each with stepped tail, figured moulded walnut full stocks each inlaid with silver wire scrollwork around the barrel tang and mother-of-pearl escutcheon, iron mounts including spurred pommels, and later iron-tipped ramrods
