The hood with brass rosettes to the swan-neck pediment, outset plain columns, with conforming columns below flanking the short bowed trunk door with onion top moulding above, the plinth raised on bracket feet, the white dial (re-painted) with scene of a man with horse and cart to the arch, painted floral spandrels, with subsidiary seconds and date rings to the centre and signed DAVID DEWAR DOUNE, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement
