The case with crenellated triangular pediment to the hood, small roundels to the sides, short trunk door flanked by chamfered angles, on plain plinth, the painted dial decorated with regal female figures to the spandrels, emblematic of England, Wales, Ireland and Summer (sic), with scene to the arch of a gentleman resting on a gravestone, subsidiary date and calendar rings to the centre and signed JNO. CAMERON KILMARNOCK (decoration to dial retouched), the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement
