The hood (formerly rising) with re-built stepped top, glazed side panels, the trunk door with floral marquetry reserves and lenticle, on later plinth with stepped skirting, the 10in. gilt brass dial with associated mask and foliate spandrels to the 1in. silvered chapter ring, matted centre with date aperture and subsidiary silvered seconds ring, the four ringed pillar movement with shaped plates, with inside countwheel strike on bell (one barrel split in half); dial and movement associated to case, case with restorations and replacements to veneers, circa 1690
