An unusual 12-inch (30.5cm.) diameter terrestrial relief globe, the plaster sphere painted blue, the continents represented in plaster relief applied to the sphere, all lettering on small applied cartouches, the equator a painted black line, ungraduated, the oceans showing ocean currents in darker blue and applied arrows and name labels, the continents in yellow with come nation states faintly outline din red or green, showing rivers, deserts, towns and cities, Tasmania labelled as such, the Congo unshown (surface discolouration and rubbing, some loss of detail and cartouches, loss of relief to Antarctic) with engraved brass meridian half-circle on ebonised baluster turned column and plinth base -- 23in. (58.5cm.) diameter
