Fluted vase shape and on spreading circular bases with applied scroll and shell chased borders, the bodies with scrolled cartouche between chased strapwork panels on a matted ground, with acanthus and cartouche handles and everted shaped collars with similar borders, engraved with presentation inscription, "Presented to James Lumsden Esquire of Yoker Lodge by A Number of Political Friends in Testimony of Their Appreciation of his Zealous and Able Exertions in the Cause of Reform, Glasgow MDCCCXLI" detachable plain liners
