Preserving three registers from a battle of Lapiths and Centaurs, the upper register with a bearded nude Lapith shooting an arrow at a centaur to his right, the centaur clutching the upraised arm of a Lapith woman wearing a yellow chiton, a young Lapith warrior with a spear running to the right but looking back towards the combat, the middle register with a young Lapith warrior with a shield and spear pursuing a bearded centaur, to their right a fleeing Lapith woman wearing a gray chiton and a young Lapith warrior running to the left, the lower register with a Lapith warrior preparing to spear a centaur, the warrior grasping the centaur's hair, the centaur gripping his thigh, with a bearded centaur with a sword galloping to the right
