FOUR FRANKISH GILT SILVER BOW BROOCHES

Each cast with a semi-circular head plate with five projecting knobs, with an arching bow and lozenge shaped foot, one set with cabochon garnets on the outer and central projecting knobs, and on the corners of the foot, with scrolling throughout, the pin preserved; two set with cabochon garnets at the sides of the foot, with scrolling on the head plate, and a flat terminal; and one set with cabochon garnets on the outer and central projecting knobs, with scrolling on the head plate, the foot with a zoomorphic terminal
