[Italy, 1690]

4o (200 x 145 mm). 109 leaves. Brown ink. Italian semi-cursive script. (Fols. 97-109, which include the colophon, misbound between fols. 24 and 25; some light dampstaining, frayed edges, fol. 1 with more severely damaged edges, apparently no loss of text.) Modern blind and gold-tooled brown morocco, two modern paper flyleaves at back and front.

CONTENTS:
Apparently a unique manuscript. With glosses in the text by Nathan Spira, possibly the editor of this redaction, and Moses Zacuto, and additional glosses on the margins by pupils of Zacuto. According to the colophon the manuscript was copied between Passover and Shavuot 5450 (= 1690), a period of about seven weeks.

PROVENANCE:
Zevi Hirsh ben Aryeh Loeb [Levin] (fol. 1r).
