The inverted ovoid body on spreading circular base with beaded band and die-rolled rim, the front script engraved Alexander R.T. Nichols from Susie and Maria, enclosed by heart form cartouche topped by stiff leaf flanked by flower sprays, the waisted neck with alternate ball and foliate band, with leaf capped scroll, enclosing ring, bifurcated handle, with applied beaded band--13in. (34.2cm.) high, 37.5oz.
