London, 1799, maker's mark worn, apparently that of Alexander Field
Comprising teapot, four footed teapot stand, two handled open sugar basin and cream jug, each oval with bowed ends, two sides with shield form cartouche enclosed by volute scrolls and floral swags, one monogrammed, between lush coiling foliage borders, the teapot with scroll spout, wood scroll handle, the hinged, part raised, cover topped by oval bond finial, with wrigglework rims, the teapot--6in. (17.1cm.) high, gross weight 36oz. (4)
