A 33cm. diameter terrestrial library globe made up of twelve chromolithographed gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial and prime meridian graduated in degrees, the ecliptic ungraduated, the oceans showing ocean currents, steamship routes with ports of arrival and departure and journey time in days and submarine cable lines, the continents with nation states variously coloured and showing rivers, mountains, towns, cities and railway lines (many areas of surafce discolouration and abrasion) with new highly polished brass meridian circle punched on one face, with similar horizon ring on four polished brass quadrant supports to tall turned ebonised pillar and square stepped base
