A 19cm. diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve coloured printed paper gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial graduated in degrees, the ecliptic unshown, the oceans showing ocean currents, steamship routes with ports of arrival and departure, the continents with national states outlined in various colours and showing rivers, mountains, towns, cities and railway lines (areas of rubbing and repair with some redrawing and some loss of detail) atop a white metal figure of a woman holding up her hand to support the sphere, wearing a long crossed-strap dress and carrying a bowl in her other hand, standing on a circular pedastal raised on a highly decorated mouled base with four foliate decorated feet
