An Allegory of Abundance: nymphs and satyrs offering fruit to Pomona

The prototype, dating from the first half of the 1620's, signed, on canvas, 180 x 241 cm, has been in the Muses Royaux des Beaux-Arts, Brussels since 1927, when it was purchased at the sale of the collection of Baron de Vinck d'Orp (Inventaris Catalogus van de Oude Schilderkunst, Brussels, 1984, p.156, inv.no.119, ill.).
