woodcut, 1923, on thick wove paper, third (final) state, a good impression, signed in pencil, inscribed 'Vorm Spiegel' by another hand at the lower left sheet corner (Hofmaier believes this is probably I. B. Neumann's hand), from the edition of 35, published by I. B. Neumann, Berlin, with margins, a deckle edge at the top, very pale mount-staining, a few very soft handling creases, some scattered foxing at the upper reverse sheet edge, otherwise in good condition
