Charles, 1st Baron Hardinge of Penshurst
Address to Lord Hardinge from the Chairman and Members of the Committee of the Indian Merchants' Chamber and Bureau, Bombay, 21 March 1914, printed in gold and colours and finished by hand, signed, perfumed. Bombay: The Times Press, 1914. On stiff waxed paper, with ivory roller attached at upper edge and silver and gilt thread tassel at lower edge, the whole backed with silk, approximately 59 x 30 cm. (one tassel detached).
[Together with:] A sandlewood presentation box with hinged lid and lock in the form of a cyclinder resting on the backs of lions, on original base, elaborately carved with foliage and figures of gods, base approximately 46 x 18cm, height approximately 20cm (base detached, lacking inscription plaque).
