The later rectangular cornice above a pair of panelled doors within square divides, each enclosing a hand-painted white ceramic tile with a protective glass plate, depicting country and lakeside scenes and botanical designs, the centre of each door with a mirrored glass panel, the reverse of the doors depicting flowering trees and the interior with eleven drawers decorated with raised japanning depicting Chinoiserie scenes of houses, trees, lakes, the sides with further scenes of birds, trees and mountains, on an ebonised later stand with spirally-turned legs joined by a shaped stretch and on bun feet, several tiles cracked and small cracks to the glass, restorations
