The hexagonal baluster vase painted in iron red with harbour scenes, a swan and seated dog on the base, with foliate branches and porcelain flowers, on a waved square base with foliate-scrolled feet, the ormolu with C couronn poinon, lacking lid

Lot Essay
The C couronn poinon was a tax mark employed in France between March 1745 and February 1749 on any alloy containing copper.
