Of slightly waisted cylindrical form with separate cover, the sides with three applied loops and handles, the cover with central ogival fluted dome surmounted by a faceted ball knop, the sides of the body with an overall silver-inlaid design of scrolling leafy vine, similar bands around the sides and outer rim of the cover, the lobes of the dome decorated with arabesques alternating with continuous knotted panels, the interior with a lip decorated with continuous plaiting, very slight loss of inlay, some handles probably repaired
