Two Tibetan gilt-bronze figures of Buddha Sakyamuni
The first 16th/17th Century, the second 19th Century
The small figure seated in vajrasana on a lotus base, the right hand in bhumisparsamudra, the left resting on the lap, wearing loose draperies with incised borders, tightly curled hairdress and usnisha, 10.5 cm. high; and another figure seated similarly, with hands in dharmachakramudra, the gesture of teaching, the robe draped in long flowing folds, glass urna, curled hair and usnisha, 26.7 cm. high (2)
