Three Porcelain Bowls
(20th Century)
The first decagonal decorated in polychrome enamels over clear glaze with shaped panels of dragons, tigers, birds and waterwheels and with flowers and on the exterior with a spray of camellias and camellia blossoms, the rim glazed in iron-oxide; the second bowl of flower-form with five petals rising from a raised ring foot, decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt over clear glaze with stands of plum and bamboo separated by two birds on the interior, with a plum spray within a double red line in the well and with a frieze of Japanese figures outdoors by a potted cherry tree; the third bowl decorated in polychrome enamels on the exterior with two women holding sprigs of peonies and chrysanthemums separated by large sprays of the same flowers, the interior painted in underglaze-blue with flower stems and scrolling foliage at the rim and in overglaze enamels with seasonal blossoms on the blue stems, the rim glazed in iron-oxide
