Decorated with red maple leaves and chrysanthemums floating on a swirling stream, the stream painted in underglaze-blue and the leaves and blossoms in red, green and yellow enamels over the clear glaze, though the outlines of the petals are delineated in underglaze-blue, the high, circular foot painted in underglaze-blue with a band of interlaced circles (shippo-tsunagi)
