A fine selection from this magisterial work. Volume V includes a 38pp. supplement, being the minutes of the 7th session of the Congrs Pomologique, at which the present work was discussed. Each variety is represented by a plate and full description. The present set includes 160 plates of pears, 55 apples, 10 apricots, 2 quince, 1 medlar, 30 peaches, 26 plums, 5 cherries and 10 grapes.
