Details
Chteau Latour--Vintage 1929
Pauillac, 1er cru class. Chteau-bottled
Seven labels slightly damaged, five labels badly damaged, some with remains of labels only. Levels: four base of neck, four top, one just below top, one mid and two mid/low-shoulder

Tasting note: Impressively deep, even for Latour, opaque centre, lovely and lively; a truly exciting, richly scented nose, spicey, cloves, eucalyptus, sage. On the palate: immensely sweet and rich for a Mdoc, for Latour. Well endowed with alcohol, extract and fruit. Velvety. A wonderfully full, elongated, shape in the mouth, with marvellous length and aftertaste. M.B. (GVWBII)
